Comments: Time certainly moves on and so do we.I have now been alone for nearly six years.Losing and living without Don at my side has been a real test of strength but I have come out of it a strong and independent woman. To any of you out there who is experiencing grief please know there is life at the end of that darkness. I recently met a wonderful man who has brought so much happiness into my life that it is almost like a dream. We are leaving Feb.11,2008 for Key West,Florida for eight days of sun and fun verses Illinois' snow and cold. Remember... If He brings you to it He will bring you through it. God is great and wonderful.

I retired from Govt. service in 2002 after 35 years of service. I have two grown sons, and two Grand sons,one of which is grown, and am married to my best friend Diane.

Comments: hi, class of 1965. i have been blessed in many ways with my life since 1965. i attended wvu until jan.69;
then the u of mo, st.louis, mo and graduated in elem ed in 69. i married randy miles in 1967 and i divorced him in 2001.
our only daughter, jen, is 32 and is a graduate of unc at chapel hill and she now lives in charlotte.
we moved to greensboro, nc in 72. i taught second grade here for 16 yrs. i attended uncg in educ. research in the early 90's.
i received a degree in photojournalism in 1999 from randolph community college. working as a photographer from 98-03 at the
gso news&record (circ.110,000) for five years was a thrilling experience for me: shooting national basketball and
football and all other kinds of photos.i had to learn film and digital! i now have a small photo biz and two dogs,
abbie and lillie. i believe the best is yet to come. i was a quiet one in high school; i have blossomed alot thru the years.

ARMY where I served for more than 20 years, during my
service in the army I had the great pleasure of traveling
around the world visting places such as Eypgt ,the Sinai as
part of the peace keeping forces there and many other
faraway and exciting place that a boy from West Virginia
could only dream of, after retiring I completed my college
education with a degree in criminal justice all working
in the law enforcement field and retired from that in 1997
after spending several years as an undercover Narcotics

I own and train horses as relaxation which can keep you

Comments: I found this web site looking for news about our latest state basketball championship. A quick
summary: I went to
Marshall University and graduated in 1969, returned to Beckley and worked for the Raleigh County Board of
Education for 11 years. I also worked with Bill O'Brien at WJLS broadcasting WWHS football and basketball for
a number of years. I went back to school and got a Master's in Social Work from WVU in 1982 and moved to Pittsburgh. I recently
finished the Ph.D. program at Pitt. I have been in the Pittsburgh area for the past 22 years working as a school social
worker and therapist. It seems so long ago that I was at Woodrow Wilson, yet the memories seem so recent!

Comments: Graduated in 1965. Attended one year at Beckley College, one year at Marshall and then joined
the Army in late 1967. Graduated from flight school (helicopter and fixed wing) and then a tour in Vietnam (72-73).
Finally got back to Marshall and finished up in 78. Stayed in a green uniform for 20 years and loved it, retired as
a Major. Was stationed in AZ, TX, AL, GA, Korea, DC, MD and a host of other places. Retired in 87 and worked in DC
for 12 years for a variety of Fortune 100 companies. Now back in WV since 1998 in Fairmont (the closest I could
get to Beckley) and am now the Executive Program Manager for the Defense Biometric Fusion Center. I was married before
and have two children (son 28 and daughter 22). I am now remarried (it IS better the second time) and now have an
extended family of two more daughters and have three granddaughters between the two families. The woman I will grow old
with (Kelly) is from this area and our favorite passtime is bass fishing. She's the best. Stop in Fairmont and see us.

I love it, I found my niche. Talking and visiting all day and getting paid for it.

Comments: Hi everyone. After graduation I worked for C & P Telephone Company
and attended Beckley College. Married Doug Elliott (Shady Spring Class of 65) in 1967.
We've lived in Bluefield and Hinton, WV for a few years before moving back to Beckley in 1973.
We have a son who
graduated from WVU Medical School as a Physcial Therapist. He is presently at Plateau
Medical Center, Oak Hill, WV as a self-employed physical therapist. We have a beautiful grandson,
Camden, who just started kindergarten this year. Doug will retire in sixteen months from the Dept.
of Human Services. I graduated from Concord College and WVU and I'm presently employed as a third grade
teacher at Fairdale Elementary School.

Comments: Hello everyone! Boy, how time has flown. Seems like only a very
short while ago we were all roaming the halls of good old WWHS. Think of it as
"we're not getting older, just better!!" As for myself, I think I enjoy life
more now than I ever have. I am now single and enjoy dancing, traveling and lots
of other fun activities.
I am now in Columbus, GA. but I do get back to Beckley several times each year. I work
for a large company as an Office Manager and International Logistics Specialist.
I have two grown beautiful successful daughters, no grandchildren as of yet - hopefully in the very near future.

Comments: I was to graduate in 1965 but dropped out and went into the Army. I
returned to WV in 1967 and spent 2 years in College then went to CA and went for a
couple of years there. I returned to WV in 1971 and started working for the state.
I currently am an assistant director in the Bureau of Employment Programs. I returned to
US Army Reserve in 1977 and continue as a warrant officer. I have had seven
interesting overseas trips with them, most recently Bosnia in 96-97. I am married (2nd
time) and live just across from the State Capitol in an old 3 story house, we also have a
small condo in CA which I try to visit 3-4 times a year. I am eligible to retire next March
and plan to start traveling as much as possible. I would love to hear from any

in 1965 while he was in the Air Force. We spent 2 years in Germany
and then Biloxi, Miss. We were sent back to Germany and spent three
years there. We returned to Beckley in 1971 and he worked as Chief
Engineer at Raleigh General Hospital. I worked as an insurance agent.
We then transferred to Richmond Va. in 1987 and he now works at
Henrico Doctors. We have 4 children, 2 girls and two boys. Our
youngest is just 15. We have 9 granchildren. I am active in the
Mormon church having been a member for 32 years. I do genealogy,
needlework and babysit. We travel home quite frequently and always
enjoy seeing and hearing about old friends.
