Comments: Hello everyone! Wow Time flies!! I am currently living in Hampton VA, I've been since 1991. Divorced in 1999 and stayed in the area.
I'm an Office Manager for SCI and currently manage a Veteran's Cemetery. I have been at my job since 1992.
I do volunteer work for Soldier's Angels, a non-profit that supports deployed troops and their families and wounded Veterans. You can check out the orgainzation at

Before moving to Hampton, I lived in Colorado and Germany. My exhusband is active duty Air Force, set to retire in the near future.
I am co-habitating with my fiance Chris, we've been together almost 7 years.

and yes there is a difference) at a time share resort thats right on the Atlantic Ocean. Who would have thought.
A couple of teachers swore I'd be in jail before I was 20. "NOT". I now have the powers of a deputy sheriff
(while on the property I protect). I left Beckley in 1986 and havent had the oppurtunity to return as of yet
but that will change soon. I'm wondering if any one knows the status on some of our favorite teachers. Particularly Coach
Tom Parham and Mary Thomas (she was a history teacher). Also, if any one knows the whereabouts of Raymond Swaggerty,
i.e. an email address or what ever I would like to get in touch with him. Any way I hope all of you are doing great

Comments: I would like to present a challenge to all former Woodrow Wilson wrestlers: we are in need of funding to keep this program alive.I am reaching out to former wrestlers as well as all alumni, as this program is on its last legs without your help. Although I never wrestled in high school, I now have a son in the ninth grade who is on the team. We just found a coach to take over this program after it was left for dead at the beginning of the season. Chuck Smith, our new head coach, is a Beckley City Police officer who has volunteered his time to give these kids an opportunity to participate in the toughest sport in the world bar none. We have set up a booster club through the high school for donations (Woodrow Wilson Wrestling Booster Club). This is a sport that does not get much attention but provides kids with great values to take into adult life ( physical fitness, nutrition, dedication, goal setting, etc). Wrestlers are the purest form of atheletes, they do it for the sake of the sport with no dreams of a professional future to cloud their judgment. If you can find it in your heart, please send a donation to the school.

Comments: Greetings from the Valley of the Sun!! Hello my fellow
Flying Eagles class of '82. I graduated from Marshall Univ. (1987) with
BA in Chemistry and WVU (1990) with a BS in Pharmacy. I stayed in
Beckley and worked for Rite Aid pharmacy until 1996 when I made my big move
to the West coast (Phoenix, AZ). I love it here! Summer is hot but very
low humidity(dry heat)-at least I don't have to shovel the heat.
9 out 12 months per year-very pleasant climate especially during Dec.,
Jan. and Feb-it's a winter paradise! I'm happily married to my lovely
wife Vanessa,
which she recently gave birth (6/25/01) to our first child- baby girl.
I missed Beckley especially the 4 seasons.
