Comments: Hey just wanted to let eveyone know, we have reserved Little Beaver
State Park for July 22 we have it starting at 6am so we can get there as early as we
want. I thought we could start arriving by 10:30. The cost with tax and all is $58.30.
If we could all put in a few dollars each it would pay for the sheltor and probably even hot
dogs and hamburgers, and then we could just sign up to bring the sides, desserts, drinks
(please no alcohol), etc. The sheltor is #4, he said it was near the kids play area.
Please agin we want everyone to attend not just the ones with kids. If you would email

State Par for July 22 we have it the whole day so we can get their at 10:30 or 11:00. The shelter

Comments: Hey everyone. I just wanted to make a suggestion after
talking to several other class mates. It is in know way ment to take
away from our ten year reunion. We are all looking very forward to
coming and know we are going to have a wonderful time. Several of us
think that it would be nice to have a family day, or just a pot luck
afternoon at Grandview State Park, not just for those with kids but for
eveyone. I think that all of us with kids feel that no matter how
successful we are now that our kids are our greatest accomplishment. I
hope that I'm not upsetting anyone by making this suggestion. We want
the picnic to be the same weekend as the reunion to make it easier for
everyone that wants to come. This is the only posting that will be
made so if you are interested please email me and be sure to pass this
on to all of the other alumni that you talk to. We want to make this
available for all of us, not just the ones with kids. We thought
Saturday at noon would be a good time, and if we want to reserve a
shelter we may all have to pich in a few dollars, if you don't care
about a shelter, we will try to get a picnic table and everyone can
bring blankets and chairs. Just let me know. Remeber it will be pot

Comments: Hello Class of 1996! I found this website by a chance. After high school I went to Marshall
University for about 3 years. I pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to
major in so I decided to take time off school to work. I worked a couple of no end jobs before I decided to
go to beauty school (the best thing I could have ever done). I love doing hair. I love to braid, cut, color, do
facials whatever! In March 2002 I graduated Huntington School of Beauty Culture and then passed the WV State Board
Examine to earned a Managing Cosmetology License. I worked at a well known Salon and Spa in Huntington before
becoming self-employeed and renting a station at "So Blessed Salon and Supply".
I then decided to go back and at least complete some of my college career. I went back to college January 2005 earned
an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting and then passed The National Exam for Certified Medical Assistants.
I'm currently trying to figure where I want to move. I am single, no kids. Undecided about the reunion but

Comments: Hey we're still in Morgantown for two more years
anyways. We are pretty sure that we are going to be coming back home
to Beckley. Our boys are getting big. Preston is turning 5 in April,
Kade was 3 in December, Gage and Cole are 15 months. All are healthy
and beautiful. We are contemplating another, just wondering about the
twin thing again, not sure how sain I'd be. I'm looking forward to the
reunion, Phillip may be on call so I may be coming with Angie (Roberts)
Richmond, and her husband Phil. Angie and Phil have two boys Issac is
turning 3, and Adam is 13 months. They are beautiful also and all are
doing great. Hope to see you all soon.

Comments: Hello to you all. I have just recently discovered this
site. It's great to read about you all. A little history - After
graduation I married a wonderful woman that I dated nearly the entire
time we were in High School (Heather Dotson). Since that time we have
had two amazing boys (Hunter-7 and Dustin-5). I also began a career in
Corrections. It was good for a while, but it had to go after about 5
years. I also enlisted in the Army National Guard here in WV in '96. In
late 2002 I decided to go active duty and have been doing that ever
since. It has been the greatest move I have made. I am fortunate enough
to work as a Liazon between the WV Army National Guard and the Active
Duty Unit they are attached to. Within in a year of becoming Active
Duty, I did an 18 Month tour in Iraq with the 1st Infantry Division. It
was a long haul, but one I wouldn't trade for anything. Because I was
fortunate enough to deploy with outstanding Soldiers, I was awarded the
Bronze Star as Staff Sergeant in a Recon Unit. Please don't think I am
patting my own back, I just want you all to know that I have served
with this Countries best! It's easy to lead good Soldiers. I came back
to WV in February 2005 and now focus just about all of my time on my
two sons. Heather and I have purchased a home here in Maple Valley
Estates on Maple Fork Road and we are having a great time just raising
our Sons here. I work in a huge new Armory that was built in Glen Jean
(between here and Oak Hill) and will be promoted to Sergeant First
Class shortly. Things are moving right along for me and mine and we are
truly happy. I am greatful to see all of the good news on here about
the rest of you. Congradulations to all of you with the Families and
Careers that you have worked hard for. I will be seeing you all at the

Our Reunion is in the making and a date has been set!! Mark your calendars for July 22, 2006 6:00pm-12:00am at the Tamarack in Beckley. We
are excited at the prospect of getting back in touch and catching up with all of you. We have tentatively reserved the
Tamarack Ballroom for a wonderful cocktail hour, buffet style dinner, dance floor, photographer, cash bar, Deejay and door prizes. In order

Comments: I had no idea this page existed!!! Justin Elswick...I have not seen or heard from you
in years. Anyway, I have been living in Charlotte for almost 5yrs, I am currently in a wonderful
relationship with Jenny Sanders (I am sure some of you remember her from class of 1997). I also have a
roommate from class of 1995 Rusty Darlington...he just moved here and is loving it so far. I have been working
at a finance company called Americredit for the past 4 1/2 yrs...no kids...4 dogs...I built a home here in 2001 and

and will be moving to Lexington, KY next year after my wedding while Arpan, my fiance, finishes up his residency. After that,

Comments: Hello again people! Well, let's see....I was robbed and shot in a Days Inn Hotel back in August 2000
with my fiance' Cassie Everhart (the one i messed it up with!! She took me back after months of begging
and pleading). We sued the hotel and we just came back from Southern Pines,
NC today from settling the case. We got quite a hefty sum of money which we'll have in about 20 days from now. I'm buying
a new ZR-2 Blazer and a crotch rocket right off the bat. The rest will go to my education. I've decided to get my
Bachelor of Science Degree in "Multimedia Software Programming and Video Game Design." I'm soo looking forward to it. Cassie
and I are getting married outdoors this September. We're then moving to Denver,
CO to get our educations there. She wants to be a Veterinarian. I hope all of you are doing well.....by the

got out last December 1st 2002...for the 2nd time. I'm living back at home now. I own my own business. "Smoother Audio and

while doing time locked up, so i guess it was all for the best..even though i can't say i learned any lessons from it really. I'm

in Aerospace Engineering this past May. I also got married in Las Vegas in April to a wonderful guy I met
here in Morgantown almost five years ago. This fall I am leaving for Officer Training for the Air Force
where I am going into the Space Command. I am considering going to graduate school in the Air Force to get
my Masters in Astronomical Engineering, but I am still deciding on that one. After the Air Force we plan to move
to Houston, Texas where I plan to be working on the Space Station. I am extremely excited about all of it! If you

Comments: I was supposed to graduate from WWHS in '96, but I was fortunate
enough to have moved away from Beckley before ever attending that awful school. I did,
however, go to Stratton Jr. High for 3 sad years. Thanks to all of the teasing and
torment I endured because of my weight, I've had a long battle with anorexia and bulimia.
I've almost died several times because of it, not that I expect you to care or anything.
But now it's 2001. I'm serving in the US Navy as a aviation electronics technician and am
about to become a 3rd class petty officer at Mayport Naval Station, Florida. I am also
about to work on a degree in marine biology, again, not that I expect you to care. Anyways,
I hope those of you who remember teasing me from Lincoln Elem. and Stratton, I hope that
you teach your kids otherwise. And I hope all of the teasing was worth all of the heartache
you caused a shy, friendly little girl to agonize over even to this day. I hope it made you
look better to all of your other friends. You've probably forgotten me long ago, but I
will never be able to forget you. You all have a great life in... ahem... West Virginia.
