Comments: I didn't realize how long it had been since I was last on this website. I was excited to read that planning is underway for our 10 year reunion, as I would love to see everyone again. Abigail Grace will be six in June and I also have a son, Alexander Davis who will be three the day after Christmas. He was born the day the Tsunami hit in 2004, a month early, and had a very hard start in life, but is doing well now. I thank God everyday that he actually made it and is doing so well. I graduate from WVU next year with my Master's in Social Work and am currently working at the Bower's Hospice House in Beckley. I love my job there and I like knowing that I help families everyday. I am glad to here that things are going well for everyone. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!

Comments: OK, I've calmed down a bit from the last post, so here's what's going on with me: I just
moved back from Huntington (including a short stint in Fayetteville with my ex-girlfriend) and am currently working
at my dad's office doing retirement planning, life insurance and financial planning in general. I was really close
to going to Orlando to study audio engineering/studio recording at Full Sail, but that ended up not happening,
and I don't regret that it didn't. I'm sure as hell not married, don't have kids, just enjoying the single life
again, tryin' to make a little cash and play some music when I get a chance. Don't hang around here much on the
weekends, I usually bounce back up to Huntington or Fayetteville since all my boys are either married or moved away

Comments: Well, it hasn't even been a year since I last made an entry but I have some
pretty big news. I resigned my position as a traveling RN and moved to Cincinnati, OH. I'm now a RN for a
local staffing agency working in all the area ICU's. Why Cinci you ask? Well, the guy I've been dating for the
last couple of years asked me to marry him on March 20th!! He's been in Cincinnati doing an interventional
radiology residency for the last year. So it looks like we will be in the big city for at least the next four years. We're
getting married on April 15th!
I love getting email from my old classmates. It's always a pleasant surprise. So, keep writing! It's fun
to keep in touch and catch up!

Comments: Hello all, wow its been a while. I glad to see so many doing so well. I dont know if anyone will
remember me I was quiet and didnt go all the time. :) Well I moved out in the country in Monore County and commute
to Lewisburg to work, where I work as assistant manager at Smoker Friendly, can you believe I actually sharpened up
my math skills to do this. I love living out in the country, its so peaceful, its lot diffrent than the "big city" life
in Beckley ha ha. We spend alot of time gardening, walking in the woods, fishing, riding four wheelers. It's a great
simple life, i wouldnt trade it for anything. Me and CW my fiance have been together for 5 years, and I'm moving
forward to the marrige thing, right now things are wonderful the way they are. My daughter Kyleigh Lynn is 3 years old
and the most important thing in my life. I really focus on education with her so maybe one day she can move more forward
than what I have, she really is very smart, (I know all parents say that) but she really is though. She has progress
way beyond what I would ever would have guessed, she was born very early and had a rough 1st couple of years, Well i
wish everyone happiness, and lives full of wonderment, I dont really miss high school at all, Now not then are the best
years of my life. If we do have a reunion I think I would come to see who I see. So whoever is taking care of that

Comments: Hello to you all! I have just recently discovered this
site. It is really good to here everyone doing so well. A lot has gone
on with me, as I am sure with you all as well. As you may remember I
was married Jan. 3rd our senior year to a wonderful Man, Jeff Neal (96'
Alumni),and graduated 6 months pregnant. August 31, 98 I gave birth to
a beautiful baby boy named Hunter David(a genius) who is now 7 and in
2nd grade at Bradley Elm. A yr. later found out I was pregnant with
another boy, Dustin Levi(you will see in future WWHS sports)who is now
5 1/2 and in Kindergarten at Bradley. They all 3 are my life. I am a
stay at home, with a small work at home job over the computer. We
recently purchased a new home at Maple Valley Estates down Maple Fork
Rd. Before that I spent 18 months worrying about my husbands life while
he was in Iraq with the U.S. Army. Which he still works full-time for
at the new Glen Jean Armory(between Mt Hope and Oakhill). And that is
my life in a sum of a few words. I can't wait to see everyone at our
reunion in 08'. Just a note to the ones who will plan our Reunion,
Plan it early, take a lesson from some past yrs. like 92' and 94'.

Comments: Just found this website; its good to hear that so many Beckley native peers are doing well. As for myself, i'm still kicking around town. Still spending my free time climbing the sandstone cliffs here at the NRG. As for my history; upon HS graduation I packed up everything I owned and headed out west to find employment, climb, and live, in Colorado. Ultimately the party ended. In a handful of months I was outta cash, totally broke, and living out of my tent in the Lander, Wyoming city park. It was sometime durring the 4 months I was in crutches; after a nasty 30' fall while bouldering in Sinks Canyon, WY that I descided I would go to college. "Can't walk so i might as well be in a classroom learning some junk"
College was like HS, mostly sucked. Lotta same stuff... paperwork, side job baggn groceries, cut classes to climb rocks in VA, hit a couple parties, made some friends, dated couple girls, lotta social drama...
Except for two semesters; My junior year rocked, As I was able to travel internationally; studying abroad w/2hot girls. OMG the best yrs of my life are totally over! heh it was fun for like 5 weeks, till the big catfight; which ended w/ me being the odd man out, travelin w/ two moody women. Most uncool.
I managed to hit six countries that yr, visiting Jordan, Syria, Israel, and Poland. My Poland trip (Auschwitz specifically), was short thou (12 days), because it was for a holocaust class. Although, I did manage to hook up w/ some climbers I met in a bar there. And for two glorious days I ditched my classmates to climb on some of the limestone cliffs below a castle south of Chestochovia. That summer I also traveled, visiting Sweden, and Great Britian for pleasure.
May 2002 I earned my BA in philosophy/world religions from Bluefield College (liberal arts). After college I started a MA at Baylor U in Texas, but bailed out because I really didn't like philo/religion stuff anymore, and had no further desire to pursue a career in it. Not to mention my savings depleted.
Not having any further plans I left TX and joined the Army and was an M11 - mechanized infratry man. When I got out of the Army I still didn't know what I wanted to do, so I hiked the Appalachian Trail starting at Maine and heading south. And after hiking 1/2 the AT, I descided to return to Beckley, where I ended up as a Union Carpenter. The money is Good. The work Hard, but I like the job.
And on a final note, I found a girl who makes me happy. I traveled the world's brothels seeking exotic women and drink. But It wasn't until I returned to my little hometown, that I would discover a special girl. Last fall I married the petite Sarah Ruth, of craborchard. Nice girl, funny, intelligent, good personality, good looking, good cook... I am content.
Currently were putting off kids for a couple years. She is goin to college, and when she graduates I guess we will either buy some land in WV, or move. I can work anywhere in the US/Europe w/ my UBC card, but I'm not sure what work will be available for my wife. Currently I'm pushing for a move to Colorado; (wanna branch out into ice climbing), she is pushing for Fla (family related). As for the future who knows what it holds.
So like thanks for reading my book. Mabey someone remembers me; thou I doubt it. Cuz I really don't remember many of you. But ah, drop an Email if ya wanna. I check it whenever i can remember. (bout once a month).

at WVU, and will be around the Beckley area some the next four months, working on my senior project. I'll be
working on a Comprehensive Master Plan Design for Ace Adventure Center on the New River, near Thurmond.
It's a 1400 acre site right on the New. We are hoping to sell the idea of creating a Village setting (think Snowshoe mtn.)
right near the river. If anyone is involved with Ace and would like to know more about what's goin on, let me know.
After graduation, I'm planning on heading to the D.C./ Annapolis area and start being a grown-up and all that flippin' sweet stuff.

Comments: Just kind of stumbled across this page and wanted to say what's up to the class of 1998. I'm an
Operation Specialist and a search and rescue diver in the Navy stationed in Chicago. I love it up here. So
much to do. I was stationed in Norfolk, Va. before I moved up here for about 5 years. Been all over the
world. Spain is the s***, but then again I think New Orleans during Mardi Gras is probably the best. I have changed
a lot since high school, most of you guys wouldn't even know me and stospal, where in the hell are you!!! I am
planning to pursue my career in the Navy. I plan on becoming an officer. I got selected to go to the Naval
Academy. Been finishing up on my bachelor's degree in criminal justice and plan to start working on my associate's
degree in forensic science soon. Life is great. I will be marrying Kathy Shumate

Comments: I cannot get over how many people are married with kids now!! OMG!! But if everyone's happy,
its cool. Anyways, after graduation I went to The Ohio State University and got my BS in Psych in 2002. While
there I did some research on topics that would really bore you and participated in student government for
a few years. Spent some time in California during the summers and would LOVE to live in the mountains there. But
the job market turned to crap after graduation, so I moved to AL and started working for a CPA. Now I prepare
individual tax returns and do general accounting for numerous businesses in the Tuscaloosa area. This summer I'll
go back to school to get my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nebraska. I usually only go

Comments: Hello fellow Woody High classmates! I just sort of stumbled
on to the amazing page today! Wow, it's really great to know
that everyone is doing so well! Well, I graduated in 1998, went
on to WVU received a BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology,
and met my fantastic husband, Tony Rich. He happend to graduate
from Wheeling Park, but I didn't hold that against him:). We got
married in June of 2002 and moved to Hampton, VA. He works for
an army aviation company as an aerospace and mechanical engineer.
I am on my way to completing my master's degree in public
administration. My goal is to work for a non-profit organization
that finds employment and housing for the mentally handicapped.
We don't have children yet, but we do have to great dogs (black lab,
and yellow lab). We just purchased our first home in Newport
News, VA. Life is great! Fran, it may be late, but I hope that
your mom is well. I've known you and your mom a lot longer than
high school, and I wish her the best. For everyone else, I'm

Comments: Well, I have been married now for four years and our son is 2 1/2. Time has flew by. My mom's cancer is
currently in remission. She had a real rough time undergoing all the treatments, but is doing very well now.
My brother married Kelli Cooper this summer, and my sister had a beautiful baby girl early last year. 2003 had some
lows but it defintily had it's ups as well. I would love to have one more baby by the end of this year. But Dylan
is a handful for me right now. So who knows. Take care.

Comments: Hello Everyone! Just an update... I am still living in New Jersey and I have been working at
Greenbaum Interiors (a high-end residential interior design firm) for a little over a year now. Work is exciting
and a true learning experience, but I love every minute of it!!! I still have the same boyfriend his name is
Don and we have been together for 4 years! Hard to believe, but things are great! I haven't been back to Beckley
much over the past year, but I was in town last weekend (for Ginny Martin's Wedding). It was great to come home
for a few days to see family and friends, but it was also nice to get back to life here in Jersey. I hope everyone

looks as if people are still hung up on stuff in high school. Anyway...I had no problems
with anyone from school. And Jill Cook...you were my first girlfriend ever in 6th

Anyway...I will be attending the first semester of my senior in Madrid, Spain studying
through St. Louis University. After which I will complete my senior year at Wheeling
Jesuit University and hopefully attend grad school at the University of Notre Dame.
Oh yeah....for those who remember the songs "Jamboree", "Hip Hop Hooray", and "OPP"....I
rapped (yeah, a white boy from Southern West Virginia) with Naughty By Nature
on stage. hahahahah Goodtimes. So, I stole one of Ja Rule's new songs and it worked out.
And just to let you guys know....I represented Beckley and WV in the ultimate party of
all parties. Myself and all my friends went to Cancun for Spring Break this year. We were
there with Michigan, East Michigan, Minnesota, etc. and we definitely represented!!!!! You
think you guys have had "fun"......hahahahh......you just don't know. You all ought to go.
