Harry Evans sent in these pictures on Jan. 27, 2008. He reports that there is no more G. C. Murphy building
and other buildings all the way to Fayette Street, as buildings are being taken down for a new
government complex.
The pictures below were taken on the day of the demolition by Jack Cottle.
